A Glimpse of Our Beliefs:

Baptist in Polity: We believe in the autonomy of each individual church with Christ as her head, the Pastor as her Shepherd, and the congregation ruling herself.

Reformed in Doctrine: We believe that mankind is naturally in sinful rebellion against God due to the original sin of Adam and therefore deserves eternal separation from God. However, Christ determined to have a people of His own choosing which He bought with His own blood. By the Grace of God, these are then Sovereignly drawn into a covenant relationship with God to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever.

Expository & Theological in Preaching: We believe that the children of God are not to remain children but mature in their knowledge of God.The best way to accomplish this is with a diet of the Holy Scriptures read and properly explained. Isaiah 28:9&10 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Evangelistic in Outlook: We believe that both the Cultural Mandate and the Great Commission were designed by God to work together to bring sinners to salvation and Glory to His name. Christians who obey the Cultural Mandate by participating in politics, education, the arts and sciences, and more find a natural atmosphere to represent God.
